And the presence of a clutch significantly expands the capabilities of the manipulator: it becomes possible to fully simulate driving a car with a manual transmission, as well as perform some specific driving techniques that are not available with two pedals. On the other hand, such equipment is not cheap, and therefore is found mainly among fairly advanced steering wheels.
